For genealogist John Daffurn, social media was a must to promote his book Seeking John Campbell.  Published in February 2015, most of the ‘noise’ about the book was created on social media.

We use various tools including Hootsuite to help us pre-plan and schedule our social media content, but we also then engage with any comments, shares and likes as they are made on the page. We also offer social media training for clients who require it.  This might be to the people who will be populating the social media or to the sales force who need to understand the role that social media plays in the marketing mix.  Understanding what makes a good post generally makes for good content creation!
